We have filled the position for the Shop Manager in SLC, and so we are pleased to welcome Gary Hurst to the Collective's full-time staff.
The role of the Shop Manager is different this year. We are hoping to create more consistency during our DIY nights, which means (pending a vacation) you will see Gary's smile whenever our shop is open for DIY nights or hours.
Gary comes to us with a wealth of mechanical knowledge. In addition to volunteering, he has worked at Contender Bicycles since 2006. So visit the Community Bike Shop, bring your bike, and expect to see the Collective become an even greater asset to the community in 2010 than it was in 2009.
