If you ever wonder why the Collective exists, why so many people volunteer their time, money and bikes... this should clear up any confusion.
These were hand written letters from bike recipients of our Bikes for Goodwill Organizations program, but as a courtesy we removed the names.
Dear Bicycle Collective,
I wish you could have been there when I dropped the van load of seven bikes to this eager family in Kearns, because much more deserve the icing-on-the-cake satisfaction of seeing pure joy and gratitutde in children.
3-year-old _____ saw her wildest dreams incarnate when I lowered the tiny pink bike with white wheels and _____ (6) plus _____ (5) rode around with the glee of Christmas morning exlaiming "I really like my bike!" over and over again.
The older three kids kept it cool but couldn't completely supress their smiles.
These are their thank-you letters. Self conscious of their spelling, the older kids trusted in oldest sister, _____, to be their scribe.
And from the Road Home a sincere thank-you for this service - it truly makes the liver of our homeless clients better...and more fun!

Thanks for the bikes! It was really nice of you guys to give us bikes. Now that we have bikes we can go to the store and do lots of other important things. Our bikes are hella tight. Thanks a lot! Our bikes look good!!! IIt's been a great help. The bikes you gave us have been good transportation for us. I can't thank you enough! :) I really like my bike you guys are great! I liked my bike and I want to thank you guys for giving us free bikes. I had a lot of fun with my bike even though I fell a lot of times! it's a good exercise. I think my bike is really pretty. :) It was helpful b/c it could take us to places we really need to go. I think my brothers' and sisters' bikes are good too. You guys rock! And your bikes! I'm really thankful for my bike. I like that my bike is fast. I was really excited when I first got my bike I like it b/c it's pink & purple and those are my two favorite colors! These bikes are really helpful. That is all I want to say to you guys & I'm really, really thankful.
