We don't want to do tuneups for people, given that is a source of income for the for-profit shops. However the for-profit shops really have no interest in having people watch the mechanics and ask questions. So what if we offered one-on-one tune-ups for the same price as regular tune-ups?
Obviously answering questions and a customer participate would drastically increase the tuneup time. So one logistical question is, given our current shop schedule, are there times that this could be done at? If we want to close the shop for a night, would the money lost from shop sales be greater or less than one-on-one tuneups?
